Welcome to Siberia

Wow what a winter. We will have ice till June at the rate things are going and for an avid ice fisherman that isn’t such a bad thing. Fishing remains spotty and a limit of walleyes seems impossible to get but we persist with regular outings. I am working on making this a video blog as much as possible. We attended the crappie derby and that was just how we did this year. The reservoir is now being held at a higher level all year now and it seems that the traditional spots have gone by the wayside. More intensive scouting will be in order for next years derby and the vermit crappie will be relocated.
