Rick comes up from Texas to fish here and has in fact bought a few acres here because of how good it is here. We had been out fishing and were having a really good day with over a dozen 17-19 inch fish having been caught and released. A weather front was blowing in and as we were looking for a spot along the bank to sit out the intensifying shower I said to Rick ” hey don’t walk past that spot over there, there is a little pocket out there that needs to be probed”. He waded out and after about five casts commenced screaming that he had a big one on. This is a familiar theme here and quite often it sounds like a horror movie in amongst all the beautiful sounds of nature. The fish was a 22 inch beauty and as we ohhed and ahhed  over this one Rick said ” I would never have cast there if you hadn’t told me. This one is also in the 8mm archives and will be posted soon.
